Since its creation in 2002, Career Dress has assisted over 1,600 at need Oakland County women who are hoping to enter the work force. On average Career Dress is helping 40 to 50 women a month to feel confident when they go on an interview. And what is even more impressive, we are seeing more and more of our clients getting jobs to support themselves and their families!

Women who are actively pursuing employment can make an appointment with Career Dress to be fitted for undergarments, interview clothing, shoes, a hand bag and outerwear.  And after being hired, Career Dress is able to provide at least two more complete work outfits.

One of the very unique features of this program is that is run by a very dedicated and talents group of volunteers. The volunteers not only make sure that our client’s look great ,they also listen and help build the much needed self esteem that empowers our clients to succeed.
