Thank you for your support, from the children at Lighthouse PATH.

Donate Now

Thank you for considering a donation to Lighthouse of Oakland County.

The work we do would not be possible without the support from our donors and community partners.  Contributions to Lighthouse provide ongoing operational support for programs as well as for general expenses associated with running the organization.

Your annual support makes it possible for the doors to be open and the programs staffed when clients arrive. Because of you, we are able to keep the pantry stocked, pay a client’s electric bill, provide diapers and formula to a teen mother and make available financial education classes to those in need.

Your donation, regardless of size, is important to Lighthouse. Every dollar helps and 87¢ of each goes directly to our programs.  For more information on making a donation contact Alayne Hansen at or 248-972-1493

Below are several options to help Lighthouse meet the needs of the community.

Corporate Partners

Lighthouse’s corporate partnerships create strong programs with local impact. We work with each partner to design an integrated marketing strategy that addresses their objectives by providing them many benefits including:

    - Positive public relations
    - Increased goodwill
    - Brand loyalty
    - Company investment in our community

Benefits of Partnership Businesses know that a strong sense of community builds quality of life. One of the best tools for revitalizing our communities is by caring for those most in need. Generous support from corporations helps Lighthouse fulfill its mission. Companies large and small have provided financial and in-kind donations, and corporate leaders serving on our Board of Trustees help guide Lighthouse through today's rigorous economic climate.

Our corporate partners also benefit from working with Lighthouse. They have found great success in reaching our community by demonstrating that they care about our Oakland County neighbors in need.

For corporate donation questions contact Priscilla Perkins at or 248-972-1487.

Planned Giving

Planned Giving is a wonderful way to leave a personal legacy and contribute to the future success of Lighthouse, its programs, and the individuals, families and seniors we serve. Depending on the choice of the gift asset and the type of arrangement selected, a donor can generally expect to obtain all or some of the following benefits:

    - Fulfillment of philanthropic goals
    - Income tax savings through the charitable deduction for the value of the gift
    - Avoidance of capital-gain tax on contributions of long-term capital-gain property
    - Income for life for the donor and/or other beneficiaries
    - Reduced costs and time in estate settlement

If you would like to explore how to invest in the future of Lighthouse, contact Priscilla Perkins at or 248-972-1487.

Memorial & Tribute

Donations to Lighthouse may be made in memory of a loved one and in celebration of special occasions like birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, a new job...the sky's the limit!  To make a Memorial or Tribute Gift, please visit our secure donation page or contact Alayne Hansen at or 248-972-1493.

Gifts in Kind

In-kind donations help us to supplement our other resources, especially in the food pantry where donated food and personal care products help to keep expenditures lower.  At our transitional housing facility (PATH) in-kind donations of baby items, household items and cleaning supplies help women and their children enrolled in the program.  For information on making an in-kind donation, contact our Community Outreach Office, 248-972-1492,
