The need for emergency food is very high. The Lighthouse Emergency Services Food Pantry is helping 800+ families per month with food assistance.  Your help is greatly appreciated in helping to keep our shelves stocked.

Do it in a day projects

Lighthouse PATH:

  • Painting and renovating empty apartments for new families. This is done frequently as families complete their stay and move into their new homes
  • Purchasing and putting in a new picket fence to replace the old one
  • Cleaning the grounds around the PATH properties and readying the gardens for spring planting (or putting them to bed for winter)
  • Cleaning and Organizing the PATH “store” where donated items are made available to clients.
Lighthouse Emergency Services:
  • House repair and yard work for our Senior clients
Lighthouse of Oakland:
  • Cleaning the grounds, parking lot and play area. This is seasonal, but needs to be done in the early spring and the fall
  • Painting walls and trim in the main facility
Lighthouse Community Development:
  • Neighborhood clean up and renovation days in Unity Park
