As Lighthouse works into its third decade of service, we stand better prepared than ever before to positively impact the lives of Oakland County's low-income families and senior citizens. The Robert H. and Mary G. Flint Campus of Caring in Pontiac includes a 30,000 square foot operations building as well as the Pontiac location of Lighthouse PATH. For the first time, Lighthouse Emergency Services, Lighthouse PATH, and Lighthouse Community Development are able to offer an integrated continuum of services designed to permanently move people move people From Crisis to Independence.

Our Clarkston office renovation has been providing expanded space for servicing our Northern Oakland County clients including a food pantry and clothing closet.

Partnerships with the community and with corporations, such as DaimlerChrysler, Comerica, General Motors, DTE, and Bank One, have enabled Lighthouse to provide training facilities, such as four classrooms, two computer training facilities, a Business and Banking Center, a Senior Independence Center, and a Home Repair Workshop. Support from private foundations, like the McGregor Fund and the Skillman Foundation, has enabled Lighthouse to establish new programs like the Kids Cafe after school program and a Montessori Child-Care Center.

With high unemployment rates and a dampened economy, Lighthouse continues to depend on the energy and participation of our volunteers and supporters. We invite you to join us helping to move people from crisis and despair, into the light of hope and independence!
